There are many animals and pictures, great for kids. Get it while its free.

Good app, needs some fine tuning. Would be nice if you wish to hear the same animal again that you would not have have to go back to the main screen then re select the animal again. Some animal sounds keep going even though you have selected another animal, overlap.

I mainly use this type of application to keep my 2 year old daughter amused. The large selection of animals is the major reason I purchased this one. A couple of useful improvements can be suggested though. 1) After selecting an animal it plays the animal sound once. Would be nice if there was a button on the animal photo screen which allowed the sound to be played again 2) A grid view selection (grid of animal photos) is more kid friendly than a list. Would be nice to either have an start screen view type option. Other than that nice work.

Could use like funfacts or somethin.

Seriously? No playback button

So I bought this app because it had the ferret dook which is awsome and unique. So first off ferrets are under the catagory rodents which they are very much not. They actually eat rodents anyways I played the ferret "sound" to my ferrets and they freaked out it wasnt dooking which is their happy noise that I was expecting. I guess the app is ok.

My toddler loves it. Good pics and sound. Might be nice to be able to stop some of the longer sounds. For the love of God, please research an reorganize the animals. Several errors, but koala being listed under bears shakes the very foundation of my being. Might as well have Gummy listed there as well.

This is a fun zoo app with lots of animals and nice sounds. There are only two problems I see: 1. The animal sound only plays when you switch to that animals page. If you want to play the sound again, you have to back out and select that animal again. Please make it so we can tap the animal picture to play the sound again! 2. Some of the sounds are very long and dont stop when you exit the animals page! There is no way to stop them short of exiting the app! Despite these issues, it is a fun app that keeps my little one entertained with the fun pics and sounds. Nice app!

This app wasnt made to impress scholors or zoologists. It was made to have fun with. Yes it could use some improvements and maybe it has a few mistakes, but most people come out from behind their computer long enough to miss a few facts or make mistakes. Kids love this app and that makes it awesome. Complain about something worthwhile for a change. If you can do so much better then create a better one.

bought it to use for ringtones but if you have a pc you have to be an expert to figure out how to use it so now it is just almost worthless animal sounds. why is it so hard to get additonal ringtones for the iphone. dont buy this item

I bought it for bird sounds, but its seriously lacking in birds (no robins, cardinals, mourning doves).

I was unable to use this as you need to be a professional computer person to figure out how to install it. So, now all I have is animal sounds on my phone that I can not use for a ringtone. If you have a PC, not a MAC, dont buy this.

This app depicts these animal sounds perfectly. I am an avid owl watcher, and the sounds they have are spot on. The music from the majestic barn owl is now kind enough to grace the presence of my phone as its ring tone.

I had a problem syncing with ITunes, but received fast and excellent customer support. The animal sounds are great!

If the app had a pause button, then it would easily get 5 stars. But for animals like the donkey and some birds they make the noise for a long time. Other than that the audio is great

Great app for young kids. My 17 month old loves this app. He is learning about animals right now and loves seeing the pictures and listiening to their sounds. It keeps him busy in offices and when hes getting fussy I will use the app to distract him. It really is educational for a young child because it includes pictures and sounds Its really fun to play engage him with. I make him sit with me so the phone doesnt get broke (big concern.... busy young toddler), but with close supervision I am happy to let him explore the animal sounds. This is a really good app sitting on the verge of greatness. Very small amount of work needed to make it really great. A few brief critiques for future versions: 1) Some sounds are long, sometimes as long as 30 seconds. This is great. I like this. But other animal sounds are very brief, maybe one or two seconds long. Now, I know some animals dont say much, but I think all the sounds should be at least 15-20 seconds long. 2) The sounds from one animal dont turn off when you click on a new animal. This is disorienting. I wish they would turn off when you go back to the menu. 3) Someone mentioned a grid view. I think this would be a great innovation for the app in the future. As this type of app is likely most utilized by young ones, a grid view would be ideal. 4) It seems like a lot more animals could be included in future version, in particular animals that make fun noises or even different versions of the same type of animal.... For example not just cow, but long horned cattle, oxen or different types of frogs, etc or other fun, perhaps even exotic animals. Lots more insects make great noises as well. Theres a lot of animals included, but many more to be explored. 5) Finally, I dont even know if this is possible, but if there was a way to disable the "home" button while the app is playing, I would be utterly thrilled. Again, very young kids are utlizing this app. They are of the age when they are fascinated both by animals and buttons. He keeps hitting the home button and exiting out of the app. Drives me nuts.

I love playing with this app!!! But you should be able to favorite certain noises, and make the play button more prominent. Also search would be nice :)

I dont c y some people r giving this awesome app bad reviews cuz they cant make ringtones from it. Blame Apple & stupid iTunes for making it so difficult, not this app! Nice variety of animals, good sound quality & easy to use.

This app has lasted the longest with preschoolers in my circles and with special needs kids too. It is quick enough for them and the recorded songs are quite good.
